Always a guest favourite: hike 1 1/2 hours from Wild Lubanzi along the stunning African Wild Coast to one of the region's most iconic landmarks. Relax at the beach or have a drink at the restaurant before hiking back.
My name is Sinovuyo Lunda, 26 years old. I come from Lubanzi Village, Eastern Cape Province. I am the founder and director of Lubanzi Adventures.
My interest and passion for tourism dates back to high school when I studied tourism as a subject. After my matric, I completed a two year training to become an accredited tour guide.
Wild Lubanzi had a positive impact on my journey. Their words of encouragement and motivation inspired me to start my own company, simply with what I had at that time. They always emphasised one build a business from the ground up even without starting capital.
Tourism is an important economic sector because it brings progress to rural areas, allows local communities to share in the benefits of tourism business, and promotes more sustainable development.
